New release on WE ARE TESTERS — June 30th 2016
Dear users,
As you already know, we are continuously developing and adapting our platform to improve your experience and develop new uses.
Today we released a new version of WE ARE TESTERS and here is the content of this sprint (as we previously explained we are developing the platform following the AGILE method).
1. Bug attachments limited to 5MB/file
We have just limited attachment uploads to 5MB/file in the bug reports. The reason is to help the client manage his bug list more easily.
Let’s explain you how it works for the client.
After you work on a mission, we provide the final list of approved bugs to the client on our in-house bugtracker named BugTrapp. This bugtracker is developed by StarDust. On our tool, we offer the client the possibility to export his bug list to his own JIRA bugtracker.
On JIRA, attachment are limited to 5MB/file. We aligned our attachment size limit to ensure the bug reports can be exported without loosing any piece of information you had provided.
2. New footer
We implemented a new footer on WE ARE TESTERS to help everyone find his way on our website. It’s also the occasion to introduce this blog in the Help & Ressources category and let you all know a bit more about StarDust.
3. Re-design bug report
We’ve also decided to revamp the design of a bug report.
It is not a revolution compared to previous design but we think it will help you identify the 3 main parts : the bug description, the device impacted and the attachments.
Also note, we placed the “section” selection at the very beginning of the bug report description to help you locate the bug on the client’s interface.
4. Bugfix
Windows phone and tablets:
No unique ID is requested anymore when you want to add a windows phone or a tablet in your account.
If you haven’t added yours yet, add it now.
