Another step from the Roadmap achieved! The GamerHash App is now available on macOS®!
A lot of you waited for this moment! We were aware that not all of our users use the Windows system and some of them are into macOS®. Well, this is your lucky day because the GH app is now available for macOS! Feel free to download it and start mining, and play&earn with us.
GH app macOS release
Yes, we finished the next step from our road map! We are so glad to introduce the GH app available for macOS to our community! It has been a long journey but we can all enjoy its outcome. Mac® users will be now able to download and use the GH app without any problems. After launching the app, Mac can mine crypto with its CPU. Mining with GPU is unavailable on macOS due to the lack of power of its integrated graphics card. Play&Earn feature is also accessible with extra tasks for Mac users only. There are 11 tasks available on macOS and you can earn around 7 dollars and 90 GHX for completing them.
How to download and launch the macOS GH app?
If you are a Mac user you can simply get the GH app by clicking on the icon in the download tab, next to the download for Windows option. After downloading the .dmg file you need to click on the file. Then move the GH app icon to the application folder. After installation, you may have problems with opening the app because the macOS system blocks unknown apps by default. You will have to give your consent for launching the application. There will be four steps to do so. Every step is explained in this simple guide:
- First, you will see a notification opened in a window: “GamerHash cannot be opened because the developer cannot be verified. MacOS cannot verify that this app is free from malware.” Below the notification, there will be two options — “Move to Bin” and “Cancel”. Simply, choose “Cancel” because you do not want to delete the app.
- Second, move to “Security & Privacy” in system settings.
- Find the “Allow apps download from” option and click Open Anyway next to the notification “GamerHash was blocked from use because it is not from an identified developer”.
- MacOS will ask you again if you are sure you want to open an unverified app. Click “Open”. GH app is now ready to be used.
