Some time ago at GamerHash Studio, we asked ourselves a question that would set us on an interstellar quest: what makes a metaverse game so compelling that players would rush to it—rewards or no rewards? Is it a game that goes beyond play-to-earn mechanics—a game that intertwines captivating storytelling with immersive world-building?
As the answer was YES, GamerHash Studio dropped “TRAVERSE” and we all had a chance to explore every voxel of the 6X6 GamerHash land while meeting and enjoying the backstories of all the NPCs and Astro.
This time, we are back with something that’s out of this world — literally!
Welcome to the Cosmic Boot Camp — C.U.B.E
Picture this: You’ve just been recruited for a space program (no, not by Elon Musk), but by GamerHash Studio in their latest Sandbox creation. Your mission? To conquer a series of challenges that’ll test everything from your keyboard juggling skills to your puzzle-solving abilities. You start at the Workout location, where newbies can get their space legs with a tutorial quest. Let’s say it will be kind of like learning to walk before you run a marathon.
HUB: Your Gateway to Galactic Glory with an NFT touch
Next stop: The HUB. It’s the heart of the game, where you interact with the Seed Device (more on this techy treat later). Here, you’ll meet a cast of characters that are out of this world, like the GamerHash monkey and our star reporter, Alpha Centauri. There will be lots of secret challenges, and when you solve them, remember to smile for the camera at the special photo-wall. You’re in the Sandbox, after all, your avatar deserves some limelight!
About the JPGs, we’ve cooked up some interesting things with the beloved Bored Apes that might add some NFT flavour to the game. You might get surprised to meet some characters, like the famous GamerHash Fund Bored Ape Yacht Club #5588 among others.
Seed Device: The Challenge Generator
In the heart of the Cosmic Boot Camp lies the enigmatic and fascinating Seed Device, an invention that serves as the cornerstone of your interstellar journey. This gaming machinery is a portal to a universe of challenges in each room, brimming with puzzles and tests. Imagine a device that holds the power to shape your adventure, offering a unique experience each time you interact with it.
The Seed Device’s brilliance lies in its dual functionality. For those who crave the thrill of the unknown, the “Random” or “manual” option beckons. With a flick of a switch, the device whirls into action, randomly generating a sequence of rooms from a pool of 15 possible challenges. These rooms are categorized into easy, medium, and hard, with the ninth room always reserved for the ultimate showdown with the Boss. It’s like spinning a galactic roulette wheel — you never know what challenge you’ll face next.
