About the Showdown
Rockstar Energy 2 VERSUS 2 SHOWDOWN will take place from the 21st to 22nd of December. The best CS:GO players and influencers will participate in the event in Novotel Centrum Poznań (Poland) and they will compete for 50 000 PLN! GamerHash fills the prize pool with massive awards in GHX for the players and for the community. Another big sponsor of the tournament is a polish bukmacher — TOTALbet. The tournament will be held in Poznań. At the beginning of 2021 we witnessed the 1st edition of the cup organized by GG League and on that occasion we admired many legendary players on stage such as Jarosław “pasha” Jarząbkowski teamed with Janusz “Snax” Pogorzelski or Filip “NEO” Kubski teamed with Wiktor “TaZ” Wojtas. I can assure you that during the 2nd edition there will be a lot of CS: GO-Global Elites too! The whole event will be broadcast on the Twitch channel — GoodGame_League! What is the tournament’s system?
Alright, but what will the contest look like? There are 7 duos invited for the competition, and an additional pair will be selected by open qualifications and every player may try his best to join the competition. There will be 16 competitors in total. Every pair will fight against each other in the “best of three” system — after 2 won maps the victorious squad goes to the next round. We’re gonna see maps such as Inferno, Cobblestone, Train and Nuke in the Wingman mode and also aim_map, aim_pistol_csgo, and awp_india.
