Comfort mode on GH App — when can I use it and what does it provide?

There are a few options for choosing the cryptocurrency you want to mine. Comfort mode is set to automatically select the cryptocurrency for your PC to be mined. The relatively best option for your GPU and CPU power is chosen after a benchmark test, then you are ready to earn your first coin. You can simply change a cryptocurrency chosen by the App if you want to pick a more profitable one. To do that you need to enter the settings, uncheck the default choice, and pick a cryptocurrency you want to mine. However, it is not a recommended option for new users without any knowledge. Remember, Comfort Mode is not meant to be the most profitable option, although it is a very convenient choice for new members. On your GPU you can mine Ethereum (ETH), Ethereum Classic (ETC), and Ravencoin (RVN). Your CPU is capable of mining Monero (XMR).

What do I mine?

The GamerHash application allows you to mine 4 unique cryptocurrencies — Ethereum, Ethereum Classic, RavenCoin, and Monero.

Ethereum (ETH) is a project of a genius programmer of Russian-Canadian origin, Vitalik Buterin. Ethereum is a decentralized platform built on blockchain technology. It is also the second-biggest cryptocurrency in the world in terms of market capitalization.

Ethereum Classic (ETC) is an open-source platform that allows users to access smart contracts and decentralized apps. ETC was created in 2016 by splitting the original Ethereum blockchain in two. Ethereum Classic stayed as the older blockchain and Ethereum was the newer one.

RavenCoin is a Proof-of-Work blockchain created in 2018. RVN coding infrastructure is based on a fork of Bitcoin and offers users an alternative to smart-contract-centric blockchains. RavenCoin can be used as a token that represents real-world assets such as gold, silver, or virtual goods.

Monero (XMR) was launched in 2014. It is an open-source, privacy-oriented cryptocurrency that is meant to be opaque. It makes the user’s identity and transactions anonymous.

Where can I get help while having an issue?

If you encounter a problem related to the application, please contact the support department and check out the FAQ, perhaps you will find the answers to your questions there. Is my computer safe using the GH App?

You do not have to worry about being attacked by any malicious software. GamerHash is 100% free from harmful viruses. If you are still suspicious about the safety of your PC go and check out the privacy settings of the GM App for yourself! Remember to set the GH App as an exception in your antivirus so the app can work properly. Programs protecting your system might detect the GH app as a threat, that is why it is so important to let the App pass the firewall and let it run without interruption.

What can I do with mined currency?

Mined tokens can be used in various ways. Firstly, you can buy products from the GamerHash store and get additional bonuses. Secondly, you can get access to dedicated events and competitions prepared only for GHX holders. Finally, you can “hodl” your coins and receive rewards in the GamerHash ecosystem.
