Mourning in America

In America's heart lies a tale steeped in shadows and mirthless laughter. Picture a neighborhood not unlike any other, where the sun shines brightly, but an undercurrent of tension simmers just below the surface. There's this kid — an oddball, truly. He wears his father's riches like a threadbare coat, one that shields him from the cold but is tattered and frayed at the edges. His father is a man of power, but that power drips from the jagged edges of cruelty.

This boy, burdened with the whispers of his peers, sets out to forge a destiny of his own, believing that wealth can mend his fractured identity. As he grows into adulthood, he adopts the air of entitlement, a mask he wears with a confidence that belies the emptiness within. He thinks his fortune will buy him acceptance, a ticket to the high table of life, but the price he pays is a soul gradually enveloped in shadows.
