Behind We Encourage- Meet our Content Strategist Stacy
In the next edition of our ‘Behind We Encourage’ series I would like to introduce you to Stacy, our former social media intern turned content strategist. She joined us in her second year as an International Business student with specialism in human resource management, having been inspired by the mission of We Encourage and our motivation to change the world.
As a social media intern she was responsible for our interactions and engagement on various channels such as Facebook. As our content strategist she now plans our campaign strategies and makes sure the marketing team knows which ideas are key to work on and when. Her spreadsheet magic helps us achieve our potential, which Stacy wishes. She wants us to grow into an internationally operated company and change the lives of thousands of girls and women. We have begun that process, through the process of developing our AINO conversational AI tool, which is now ready for testing.
In her own words “I am motivated by strong women who are not afraid to step up and change the situation, draw attention and make tough decisions.”, something we, at We Encourage, also believe in. Whether it be leaving a partner who commits domestic violence or insisting on having an education. We want all women to be able to be strong and stand up for themselves. Our leader Anna is also an example, leaving the industry she knew well for startup life.
If Stacy could change three things in the world she would eradicate hunger, create high quality education accessibility and ensure nature preservation, as “I feel that we, as humankind, should be kind to each other and supportive, care for the planet, animals and those ones in need.” This belief feeds well into the superpower she would wish to have, protecting wild and domestic animals from cruelty and extreme violence of all forms.
