It has been a whole year of our current Aino Aid™️chatbot interacting with people all over the world. We are so proud of all the conversations that have been had, the people who have provided feedback, and that our AINO Chatbot can contribute to helping people understand domestic violence, and help those experiencing it.

We wanted to run you through all the important milestones Aino has achieved this year — to inspire you, provide hope for the future and celebrate everything we have achieved so far.

Number of Users

Aino has had 3000 users this year! We are so pleased that people are getting useful information, provided by specialists and psychologists, from our service. We hope that this continues to grow and that our users continue to benefit from Aino.

Digital Service of The Year Award

Our Aino chatbot was awarded ‘Digital Service of The Year 2021’ by The Finnish Software and E-business Association. We were honoured to have been selected from an impressive set of other nominations.

Feedback

Aino has received over 100 pieces of feedback. Thank you to everyone who contributed and has sent us feedback. It helps us grow and improve our Aino services— so please continue sending it!

Tanzania Project

Through funding from the Swiss Embassy in Tanzania we were able to start our Tanzania project. We are working with stigmatized girls in the community, due to albinism, and engaging in dialogue with them. They have been piloting our Aino service, and adding suggestions.

Their feedback included that they were glad to have been asked for their opinions, and pleased that we were interested in working with them. Everyone deserves to have their opinions and voices heard, and we are proud that the Embassy enabled and allowed us to undertake this initiative.

Happy Birthday to Aino!

We have had so much to celebrate just in our first year!

We are honoured and excited to start our second year with Aino, and are eagerly looking forward to the future and many years of Aino helping those who are experiencing domestic violence in any form.

Hopefully there are many more celebrations to come, including some top secret projects that will be announced soon! One project we can tell you about is being invited to the International Child Helpline conference in Stockholm to present Aino in September, as part of the Tanzania project — maybe we will see some of you there.

Thank you to everyone who has supported us this year, we are so grateful. Please continue to share our work, or get involved! If you are looking for more information about us, or our Aino tool check out our website or our AINO Chatbot. We are here to listen and to help.
