We Encourage is in conversation for collaboration with United Nations Technology Innovation Labs Programme (UNTIL) to address the problem with Intimate Partner Violence (IPV).

It is estimated that 1 in 3 (35%) women worldwide have experienced physical and/or sexual violence from IPV or non-partner sexual violence, with prevalence rates ranging from 23.2% to 37.7% across all global regions.

Covid-19 brings along high level of stress and anxiety, which increases the risk for IPV. Also, as people are forced to stay home, it creates an unbearable situation for the victims of IPV.

We Encourage addresses the problem with building an AI tool to support victims

We are looking for counselors, psychologists and psychiatrists, NGOs and other professionals to join forces with us to build the AI tool to prevent IPV, to support and help these victims. We are in need for the data to be taught to the AI tool. We would also like to talk to victims of IPV and understand their perspective and feedback on our approach and solution.

If you wish to help us out, please reach out to Anna Juusela or Gokul Krishna Srinivasan to learn more.
