Thank You for Joining Us In The National Salute to Veteran Patients

Last week we teamed with Uber and asked you to join us in the National Salute to Veteran Patients by writing messages of support and gratitude for veterans recovering at VA medical centers across the country.

For every card submitted, Uber pledged to donate $1 to the Bob Woodruff Foundation to support post-9/11 veterans in rehabilitation and recovery programs.

Participants were able to submit notes online and Uber printed them on cards for delivery.

Thousands of heartfelt messages were received from our supporters, Uber riders, their partner drivers, and employees.

Last Friday, Feb. 13, UberMILITARY partner drivers joined Uber representatives in visiting local VA medical centers across the country to hand deliver the cards to our nation’s heroes.

Thank you to those who offered notes of appreciation and encouragement. Because of your support, Uber will be donating $10,000 to the Bob Woodruff Foundation.
