Six favorites after six months in Bend, Oregon
“How long have you lived here?” someone asks me about once a week. “Oh we just moved here about two months ago” I keep saying, except that’s a lie. I only feel like we’ve lived here for two months, but time flies when you’re having fun. As of June 27th we have been in Bend full time for 6 full months.

To celebrate, I thought I’d jot down a few of our favorite things about living in Bend… and mention a few surprises as well.
1. no DD necessary, just walk
Part of the reason that we moved to this specific house in this specific neighborhood was because Ryan hates to drive. I honestly believe he would never drive another day in his life if he could walk or run or teleport instead. And we are so lucky… from our house in Bend, we can walk to almost everything, including our favorite coffee shops, restaurants, and breweries, as well as a bookstore, a yoga studio, a summer farmers market, a gym, multiple home stores, and a store just for people who love…
