Theodor Capitani Von Kurnatowski, better known as Theo Von, is an American stand-up comedian, podcaster, television personality, youtuber, and actor.
Theo hosts the podcast This Past Weekend and co-host of The King and the Sting podcast.
Theo was born March 19, 1980 in Covington, Louisiana, son of Gina Capitani and Roland Theodor Achilles who is originally from Bluefields, Nicaragua. Theodor Sr. was 70 years old when Theo was born.
He is of Italian and Irish descent on his mother’s side and from his father’s side he is Polish, English and Nicaraguan.
Theo grew up in Covington, Louisiana with his three siblings, all of them currently reside in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He graduated from Mandeville HIgh School in Louisiana and he attended Louisiana State University for some time.
Theo also attended Loyola University, University of Arizona, College of Charleston and Santa Monica College.
He received his undergraduate degree from the University of New Orleans in 2011.

Theo started his career in entertainment at the age of 19, when he starred in MTV’s Road Rules: Maximum Velocity Tour, he was still attending at Louisiana State when this opportunity showed up.
He then appeared in other MTV shows such as: The Challenge, Battle of the Seasons, The Gauntlet, Battle of the Sexes II and Fresh Meat.
In 2008 Theo was a member of the Comedy Central show Reality Bites Back. He ended up winning the show while beating fellow comedians Amy Schumer, Bert Kreischer, and Tiffany Haddish among others.
Theo started in stand up comedy when he was 23 years old in Louisiana he later decided to move to Los Angeles in order to pursue his dream and made a career out of it.
