How it Happened — Tayo and Titi’s Twitter Chat on the Paga🤝🏾Wealth.ng Partnership
Earlier this week, we announced the coming together of two powerhouse firms in the FinTech space, Paga and Wealth.ng, on Wealth Corner. We hosted Tayo Oviosu and Titi Adeoye, founders of both companies in a Twitter Chat. Tayo, in his quest to deliver financial services to everyone, founded Paga which has grown rapidly to serve over 14m+ users, gathering international recognition along the way. Similarly, Titi’s passion to democratize access to Wealth Management led her to create Wealth.ng, Nigeria’s 1st Investment Marketplace.
These two visionaries decided that a partnership was a brilliant strategy to help both companies reach their goals. In Tayo’s words,

After the pleasantries and kind words, we got deep into the workings of the partnership and what it means for users.
Does this partnership mean that the end user, the average customer that is looking to invest will incur more charges since there are more companies involved in the transaction?
Titi: Paga and Wealth are very aligned around the need to ensure that we are providing value to our users so no, users will not be charged more.
