Special Focus: Exposing Fear
Hello Dear Friend, Welcome and thanks for tuning into our WEALTH OF WORDS blog: WATER ON THE WORD WEDNESDAY edition!
In our SACRED SUNDAY edition, we targeted FEAR as one of Satan’s subtleties used against mankind. Satan’s goal is to slowly inflict enough pain and brokenness into one’s life until he kills our desire, steals our freedom and destroys our faith in ourselves and ultimately in GOD!
The fictitious superhero we know as Superman could only be defeated if exposed to a fictitious rock called KRYPTONITE! Fear is the Christian’s Kryptonite. It is an enemy to our prosperity; a demonic SPIRIT that if not detected in time will do its damage internally with death as the final result.
Our struggles with fear exist because many times we unintentionally underestimate the symptoms! YES! There are symptoms! It’s time to expose the ENEMY!

FEAR FACTS
FEAR is more than feeling afraid or scared. It is a Satanic weapon that the enemy uses against God’s creation.
SCRIPTURE DEFINITION:
II Timothy 1:7 For GOD HAS NOT GIVEN us the SPIRIT of fear but of POWER of LOVE and a SOUND mind.
I John 4:18 There is NO FEAR IN LOVE; but perfect love CASTETH out fear: Because FEAR HATH TORMENT.
1 Fear is a SPIRIT!
2 Fear DOES NOT come from God
3 There is NO LOVE in Fear
4 Fear loses its power and is cast out only through PERFECT LOVE — GODS’ LOVE!
5 Fear has TORMENT
Fear blinds one to GOD’S supreme authority. One forgets that all power above and below belongs to God. God is in CONTROL.
FEAR STEALS one’s freedom to confess their fear.
Fear drains our strength and robs us of power. Fear causes isolation.
Fear cripples the ability to love. Fear suffocates one’s expression and reception of love.
Fear confuses the mind. Fear produces negative thoughts. One finds it difficult to practice sound judgment in their decision — making processes.
Fear destroys our FAITH. It is at this point of weakness, when we have become battle weary that Satan the Destroyer tries to deceive us into believing that we are TRAPPED, UNLOVED, AND FORGOTTEN.
HOW TO FIGHT FEAR AND WIN
1 Know The Symptoms!
RACISM, BIGOTRY, PREJUDICE/IGNORANCE, HATRED, LOW SELF-ESTEEM, ANXIETY, STRESS, PANIC, OVERINDULGENCE, AND DEPRESSION are some of the major symptoms of Fear — these are the vices that the enemy uses to weaken us spiritually so that he can gain control of our minds.
2 We Must Pray!
Now that we have exposed this enemy called fear, and the warfare we experience as Christians, we must now know the importance of praying! In All Places, At All Times, In All Situations, for All People, God wants us to cry out to Him in prayer!
Continuous, consistent prayer is a standard requirement for all who desire the personal intervention of God Himself in all of His Ability. Crying out to God can be most powerful because it is usually extremely fervent! God allows or arranges impossible situations so that all we can do is cry out to Him for help. He often does not act until the moment we cry out, as illustrated when the disciples were overwhelmed by a storm. “And they came to him, and awoke him, saying, Master, master, we perish. Then he arose, and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water: and they ceased, and there was a calm.” Luke 8:24.
We often have unanswered questions addressed by God’s power when He works in impossible situations. Crying out to God takes prayer to an elevated sense of intensity in the supernatural. It is only in this intensity of prayer that God’s Love will consume your heart, mind, and soul, and cause you to live in the power God destined for your life!
