Product

This week in products, we’re cooking up some notification gravy for our users…

With Day One being at the crossroads of task-assignment, intra-team communications, and improving operational productivity, our team realises the importance of having the right notification alerts to users so they perform at a level of excellence without even having to think about it.

What you see here is our initial draft of how the DayOne notification dashboard is going to look like-

Shoutout to Lilian for the design :D

DayOne is beginning to look more and more like the superapp for the offline workplace — that one app where staff of offline businesses turn to for everything work-related.

Team

In teams, this week’s theme has been Work-From-Home.

With COVID measures heightening here in Singapore, we’ve adopted a more remote workflow (this picture was taken before the new measures came up).

Our growth team has deftly pivoted to a more online-based outreach approach that’s already bearing fruit in getting meets with excited, interested brands… While our hyper-focused tech team has still been showing up to the office religiously to get code done.

Community

This week we’ve hopped on calls with DayOne users to discuss rollouts for new features on the product side — to be revealed more in the coming weeks ;) — and there are also demos lined up as well for with brands we’re super excited about getting on board and using our app!

If you’re looking for ways to keep your business operations razor sharp even with new COVID measures, you know what to do

People we’re thankful for this week

This week, we’re thankful to Janice from Burnt Cones for your insights and feedback, Joyce from Thinkersbox as well, Ee Von from Poke Theory and Jamie from W39 for getting on calls to validate design ideas.

Till the next (from home in my PJs),

JT
