This week in DayOne — we roll out early design works on new DayOne features, take a step in the direction of the impending “gig” economy, and welcome onboard new brands joining the DayOne bandwagon.

Product

In Products, our team is fleshing out the initial designs of a clocking in-and-out feature that is still very much in the works.

A quick look at how the DayOne mobile dashboard will look like with this new feature

Although this piece of development is not scheduled to be released any time soon, it’s definitely something that our users have raised keen interest in.

Not only on the side of employers, but with a great clock-in and clock-out feature, staff can also have a greater peace of mind when it comes to taking their breaks, recording working hours accurately, and making sure everything is aligned with their work-hours on the job.

Oh and did I mentioned that DayOne will be launching a series of Medium write-ups detailing our UX processes related to the upcoming clocking in-and-out feature?

Look out for this series coming really soon… ;)

On another note, making sure job vacancies are filled is important, especially so on the operational side of things when it comes to the offline business.

That’s why our team is super excited to introduce Workable — something we’ve been working on the past couple of weeks.

Introducing… Workable!

Workable is right on the cusp of being fully launched to the public, so keep your eyes peeled for when we’re officially ready (which will be pretty darn soon) 👀

Team

For teams, we hit the streets once again to spread the DayOne word to offline business owners.

We’re making full use of this period where dine-in is still not allowed here in Singapore to onboard as many f&b and retail brands onto DayOne as possible!

Community

In community news, our team would like to extend a warm welcome to Merci Marcel, Maxi Coffee Bar and The Naughty Chef for officially getting onboarded and using us! 🙌

People we’re thankful for

BetterCraft for helping us with user-feedback, Foreword Coffee and Chico Loco.
