We hosted a webinar 3 part series how teaching can make an impact on many lives. The first webinar is about teaching English overseas and the impact it has on students.

Have you heard about people going overseas to teach English, but have wondered how being a foreign English teacher can be strategic for making a difference in people’s lives?

At ELIC, we believe that in the countries where we work, there is a specific need for well-trained, professional English teachers. These English teachers pursue excellence in the classroom as a central part of their calling. On a platform of educational credibility and classroom quality, we can establish a lasting structure where deep relationships can be built.

Do you have questions like:

Does teaching English overseas really make a difference?

You have an immediate audience that will listen to you by teaching students in the classroom. We use a simple skill, like the English language, to build friendships globally and encourage our students to live an amazing and abundant life.

Why English?

English is in high demand globally. Opportunity to stand in front of future leaders studying in business, medicine, finance, etc. Governments recognize that their students need English to excel in any study to succeed.

What is it actually like to teach English in another country?

The day-to-day experience is different in every country. At every location that ELIC works, the students are far more respectful, interested, and friendly towards teachers compared to what you typically see in a North American classroom. It’s easy to spend time with students outside of the classroom; they want to hang out with you. You are also put on a team so you never go alone. We have a member care team that takes care of you while you’re overseas. Professional development is another key aspect of ELIC.

Join this webinar to hear how the platform and credibility of being a teacher lead to long-term, sustainable, and strategic impact.
