The 2nd part of our webinar series is how you can make an impact during the summer with ELIC.

Can I really make a difference on a short-term summer trip?

This is a question we at ELIC receive quite a bit, and while it can be a topic of debate for some, we’re here to share a little bit about why you can, indeed, make an incredible impact in a short amount of time. Not only have teachers served on summer trips themselves but also seen and witnessed the long-term impact from having a short-term team come to their cities for a summer.

Will the only people who are impacted be students?

That is definitely not the case. Not only students are impacted but you can develop relationships and trust with school officials too. Iris talks about how she built trust with the school officials and they were coming back to her for feedback and advice.

What does going for a summer mean personally?

Teams. Living in a biblical community, coming together for one goal. You are a part of something much bigger; one person along the thread of many people that the students have been able to sense the fragrance of Him through. You’re a piece in the greater picture.

Hear from Noah from Laos about how His love does not have a minimum time requirement to impact students lives. It doesn’t matter how long it is, it just matters that we are obedient to love people and that’s all that He asks us.

A summer may seem like a short amount of time, but when you think about it, one person can change the trajectory of someone’s life regardless of the amount of time together.

Join us as we hear from people from across the globe as they share their experiences and insight while also learning about the opportunities available to serve this summer. Follow the link below for the full-length webinar:
