In an elevator?

Then here’s an elevator story: In a breathtakingly short 4 week period, we built an online area for journalists and the automotive press to find out key information on the Polestar 2. Check it out here: https://www.polestar.com/se/press/polestar-2/guide/exterior

Background

In collaboration with the launch of the Polestar 2, a specific online area was required for press and journalists. The requirement for this area was to have all main features of the car highlighted in ‘bite size’ form.

Client: Polestar
Industry: Automotive
Duration: 4 weeks
Delivery: Interface Design, User Experience, Development.
Team: Russell, Oday, Flo and Elina.

Results

A vision from the project team to use hotspots, plus an animation controlled by scroll interaction, made this production an exciting challenge. The site also had to support multiple languages and fit well into the existing Polestar digital ecosystem alongside their other digital touchpoints and services.

The animation itself is frame-by-frame image manipulation. Like a video, except manually controlled.

From concept to final launch in just under 4 weeks made this an intense project, but a final delivery Polestar can be proud of.
