We’re very excited today to share the #Laugh project with the world.

#Laugh is an extraordinary, once-in-a-lifetime art project conceived by artist, Eyal Gever to make, for the first time, an art sculpture in space.

The project launches today and users from all around the world are being invited to create a sound sculpture with just the sound of their voice using the #Laugh app. The most popular, crowd-sourced sculpture will be 3D-printed aboard the International Space Station in February 2017.

Eyal’s palette is code — he has spent the past 6 years developing his paintbrush, the software and code that drive his sculptures, live shows and #Laugh app — and #Laugh is just the start of a number of exciting projects that we are creating together using this new and developing palette in 2017 and beyond.

Platoon is a platform for the most fearless creatives and we are so proud to have had the opportunity to work with Eyal for the past 2 years to bring #Laugh to life. We look forward to sharing with you many more of our creations in the near future but, in the meantime, you can listen to some of our other exceptionally talented creatives here.
