Launching a New App? Don’t spend any money on ads, yet.
Lot’s of businesses get excited when they are launching a new app and want to start spending on advertising and acquisition right away.
When you launch a new product there are bound to be setbacks and glitches. The last thing you want to happen is to pay for users who stop using your product due to a poor experience! You’re core audience is more likely to forgive you in this situation especially if your brand is widely known.
You’ll be able to understand the impact of your owned sources much better without mixing in paid off the bat. Start with your organic social media accounts, email lists, word of mouth, etc. Finally, if you start paying for users right away you are likely going to pay for someone who was going to download your product anyways. Our suggestion is to wait 30–90 days until allocating spend and to focus primarily on UI UX to get things where they need to be.
