Instagram Lite: the optimized version of Instagram to find more users abroad

“Instagram Lite” for Android appeared today at Google Play App Store. The company didn’t made an announcement about it earlier. The app’s description says; “The Instagram Lite app is small, allowing you to save space on your phone and download it quickly,”.

The Instagram Lite is 1/55th the size of Instagram’s app and it’s an optimized version on Instagram, created to explore potential on emerging markets. It lets you filter and post photos to the feed or Stories, watch Stories and browse the Explore page, however, it currently lacks the options to share videos or direct message to your friends.

Instagram Lite solve lots of common problem among mobile users that can happen mostly when the user have older phones with less storage space, slower network connections, and can’t afford big data packages.
