Leveraging the JDatabase Class in Joomla: A Free Intro Course for Web Developers

JDatabase is Joomla’s class for programmatically interacting with your Joomla database. It’s my favorite part of Joomla’s code, as it basically allows you to build out any database application that you can envision.

Thanks to everyone who attended my session at the Joomla World Conference in Vancouver, BC, last November. I’d been meaning to post a video of the presentation, so here it is:

This is a pretty good intro, IMHO, to working with database queries within the Joomla! context, and includes a mini course library with code examples that should be easy to copy/paste/test. So, go there, get coding, and have fun! Let me know if you run into any questions, etc.
