Quick & Easy Idea for Ensuring that Lucky 1/1 Super Rare Minters in Generative NFT Sets Get PFPs

Just a quick thought related to the super rares in a generative set.

A good while back, I put together an article about how 1/1s (aka “super rares” or “legendaries”) usually work in 10k generative NFT sets. You can read that article here:

In addition to the various types of super rares discussed in that piece, it struck me lately that there’s probably one more type, which is when you include 1/1s that don’t even look like a PFP. For example, maybe you’re doing 10k cat NFTs, and the super rare ones aren’t even cats; maybe they’re special 1/1 artwork by the artist or something.

People always love getting the 1/1s, of course, no matter what approach you take. But, in the 20+ sets I’ve handled at this point, it struck me that sometimes the 1/1s are really different.
