Web Financial Group advances global expansion into North America with a bang: Chris Evans, new Managing Director Sales
As a key strategic initiative, fueled by the recent private equity investment from a leading European financial firm, Web Financial Group is pleased to announce that Chris Evans will now work alongside Jeremy Diamond, as Managing Director Sales North America. Jeremy joined Web Financial as President of North America in 2016 from YCharts, where he had been chief revenue officer and a board member at the behest of YCharts investor Chicago-based data and investment research provider Morningstar, where he had previously held several leadership roles.
“Having Chris join the North American team is a natural evolution of our business given so many existing clients in the UK are global, digital transformation is global, and we intend to bring the solutions we provide to them across the Atlantic, as well as continue to add new clients to our rapidly growing roster”, has explained Diamond.
Based on thirty years of extensive experience within the financial industry, Chris had originally established Web Financial Group in the UK in 2010, then successfully acquired the Digital Look business in 2011, and has continued to aggressively expand the Web Financial Group business in the UK and beyond.
“All financial institutions are in the process of digital transformation plans in order to meet the future needs of their retail & professional customers. The timing is right in order to advance the global presence of Web Financial Group as the leading independent supplier of data-driven managed service solutions, currently servicing 170 banks, brokers & media firms serving in excess of 80 million end users”, says Evans.
As a transitional role, Chris will also be working alongside David Tibbetts, who has recently joined as U.K. Managing Director to consolidate expansion in the UK market.
