Announcing the web3 Warri Arbitrum Universities Events

In line with Arbitrum “initiatives for institutional community growth,” the web3 Warri community is excited to announce the Arbitrum Universities event in a campus near you within Warri and the Delta State region of Nigeria.

The institutions include:

1. The Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Effurun-Warri — FUPRE.
2. The Petroleum Training Institute — PTI
3. Delta State University — DELSU

This series of universities and higher institutions events is targeted at students, researchers, developers, and anyone in between who is interested in blockchain technology and building on top of Arbitrum.

What to expect?

We will be covering the following at each of these events.

1. The fundamentals of Blockchain technology
2. Challenges with the blockchain technology — the blockchain trilemma
3. Layer 2s
4. Arbitrum as a layer 2 solution.
5. Building on top of Arbitrum — a technical deep dive. Building smart contracts on Arbitrum.
6. Contributing to the Arbitrum ecosystem as a student, researcher, developer, and anyone in between.

Oh, and there will be an Arbitrum booth at each event.

And yes, there will be lots of food.

What do you need to attend?

Admittance into the event venue is FREE, you are only required to RSVP for any of the events within your campus, using our meetup page, which will feature the dates for each of the campus events.
