We are thrilled to announce Archisinal as the newest recipient of the Decentralized Futures grant, marking a significant step forward in the integration of blockchain technology within the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) sector. Archisinal is pioneering a decentralized marketplace specifically tailored for design professionals, leveraging the power of NFTs to revolutionize how architectural and design works are monetized and managed.
Having recently placed first in the Encode Club Spring Hackathon in the ‘Best Use of Polkadot’ category, Archisinal stands out in the Polkadot ecosystem by offering a unique platform for tokenizing construction designs and contractual information. This provides self-sovereignty of work for AEC professionals and benefits them via innovative creator staking systems. The marketplace not only facilitates earnings from initial sales but also ensures ongoing royalties, and an opportunity for architects and designers to accrue tokens passively, providing a sustainable financial model for creators in the AEC industry.
The platform’s integration into the Polkadot network underscores its commitment to security, scalability, and interoperability, offering a robust infrastructure for the AEC community. By focusing on these specific industry needs, Archisinal introduces a new paradigm where technology meets creativity, enabling professionals to harness the full potential of their work in a transparent and efficient manner.
As we move forward, Archisinal’s development roadmap includes a clean dashboard delivered as a SaaS product, using machine learning to pull Real World Asset (RWA) data from various systems, incorporating key milestones and validation sign-offs onto the blockchain. This ensures all pertinent project data is stored on-chain, providing an immutable ledger of events, and saving large amounts of time and money for construction developers. This paves the first steps towards achieving on-chain arbitration for the built environment via Decentralized Construction (DeCon).
