Web3 Foundation Grants — Wave 9 Recipients
The list of Web3 Foundation grant recipients keeps growing at a rapid pace. Since the beginning of this year, we have funded 48 grants, a sign of our commitment towards enriching the Web3 ecosystem and of the continued influx of technically strong teams bringing great ideas to it. Including this quarter, over 250 different projects have been accepted to our grants programs since inception. We are humbled and thankful for the astonishing amount of interest in our technologies and the excellent work done by all participating teams.
But the numbers aren’t all: we continuously strive to improve our grants programs and have introduced changes in this quarter that will hopefully lead to a smoother journey through the grants process for future and existing teams, and enable them to deliver projects that have an even greater impact on the ecosystem. These changes are reflected in updated guidelines and instructions, a new FAQ section as well as improved transparency in our list of accepted grants.
It’s exciting to see the number of talented teams working collaboratively to contribute to the Polkadot, Kusama and Substrate tech stack. We’re still looking for new projects to fund in order to continue the expansion of the Web 3.0 ecosystem, so if you’re interested, we invite you to apply as explained further down below.
