The team at Tuum Tech is pleased to introduce our brand new product called Profile, a comprehensive Web3 Decentralized Identity (DID) housing all of your most pertinent information in one convenient place. Users can now leverage one profile across multiple applications and platforms for convenience and accessibility, putting them in full control of their data.

We’ve built our setup process to be as simple as possible, making the creation of your new digital profile easier than ever. Let’s take a step-by-step look at how to get started:

  • Navigate to our product’s website and begin by entering your name and email address. When you’re finished, click Create New Profile

Alternatively, you’re also able to log in to Profile using your Elastos DID via Web3.

  • A verification code will be sent to your email address from “dev-support@tuum.tech” — click on the Validate link to officially begin the onboarding process (if you can’t find the email, try checking your spam folder before re-submitting a request)
  • Next, you’ll be prompted to create a password — make sure it’s unique and meets all of the requirements outlined below. Type the same password once more below to confirm and click Continue

We’ve implemented a password feature to eliminate the need to use mnemonics each time you log in, making it even more convenient for our users.

  • The system will now generate your digital ID and take you through a “Quick Start” tutorial, starting with a brief overview of your profile.
  • Next, it will provide you with your DID secret keys — make sure to write these down offline in order (you’ll be prompted to re-enter them to confirm).
  • On the next screen, it will prompt you to select how you’d like to store your personal and application data via the Tuum Tech Hive or another vault of your choice.

After you’ve completed these steps, you’re all set! You’ll be given a completion badge noting you’ve completed the tutorial, and you’ll now be able to start populating your information with your DID.
