On the 24th, Webility, a web3.0 mobility-sharing economy service, announced the establishment of a Polygon mainnet cross-chain bridging environment through its official Medium account.

Polygon is recognized as a solution that maintains compatibility with the existing Ethereum network while providing fast transaction speeds, addressing scalability issues for blockchain companies.

A representative from Webility stated, “With the introduction of the Polygon cross-chain bridging, users can now easily exchange our ecosystem token, WEBI, from the Ethereum (ETH) network to the Polygon (MATIC) network.” They further explained, “While the existing WEBI token has operated solely within the Ethereum blockchain, we decided to extend support to the Polygon network to enhance the Webility ecosystem’s expansion and user convenience.”

Continuing, they mentioned, “As onboarding Web 2.0-based users into the Web 3.0 environment is one of Webility’s primary goals, the introduction of the WEBI token to the Polygon network is expected to provide our service users with a more efficient transaction environment and lower transaction fees.”
