New in Weje: 4 updates for teamwork, conference calls, blogging and more

Our Weje team is happy to announce four great releases that will improve the data-managing approach of everyone from companies to bloggers. We have spent the last 6 months enhancing the platform with powerful and in-demand updates, from the upgraded easy-to-navigate UI to advanced tools for input arrangement. After implementing new technologies and architecture into the platform it’s become over x10 faster. We’ve also added Offline Mode so you can view and work with boards even when you’re offline or your connection isn’t stable.
But now the boards you create can be even more structured and organized, making it nothing but a pleasure to share your creations with teammates and audiences across the web. And until we finalize the release, you will be able to choose to work with either the old or the new version of Weje.
Let’s take a closer look at the 4 major new features:
1. New tools for Team collaborations
Teamwork is at the heart of Weje and with these new features for teams, collaborating on projects is easier than ever:
Real-time team collaboration
You’ll never miss a new edit, comment or improvement on your shared whiteboard — latest changes are visible to all whiteboard editors in real time. Track your teammates’ progress with named cursors and frames for selected objects that will highlight what edits are being made and by which team member.
Pointer mode
Turn on the Pointer mode and write notes or underscore objects that require extra attention from your teammates.
Integrations
The new Weje has an integration feature, meaning users can connect their boards to popular services like Jira, Google Drive, Dropbox and Slack.
2. Reach bigger audiences with Weje Sites
Organize and create an effortless distinct look for your content with Weje Sites: in addition to the existing data-organizing tools you’re used to, you’ll now be able to turn any board into a handy published website.
With Weje Sites you can create structured shareable documents and presentations from your boards. Private documents can be shared only between chosen group members, while public access documents can be made visible to anyone on the web, making it perfect for businesses, solopreneurs and individual users.
Use Weje in your company’s day-to-day workflow to create corporate knowledge bases, develop prototypes and share documents, create presentations, track tasks and team projects.

Remote work is rising in popularity in many industries, and online conferences are becoming more and more in demand. We plan to enhance your teamwork with the most advanced communication tools incorporated right in the platform.
Collaborators will be able to discuss the project as they work on it with no need to switch to external messaging or calling. Complete tasks on your Weje canvas and speak to teammates about it right away — simple as that.
4. New improved account dashboard
We’re adding flexibility and clarity to your dashboard. Now managing boards, controlling access rights, and configuring account settings is easy — everything is a click away.
Non-stop development
The 4 new major Weje features we’ve just described are fantastic. But we haven’t forgotten about the tool optimization either. What we mean by this is that there will be fewer tools in total, but each one will become more functional.
You will also see new data-processing tools on Weje that will make teamwork faster and more productive. Among them:
- Reactions (voting)
- Checklists
- Reminders
- Kanban boards
- Chats
- Connections
UI and UX modifications are coming as well. We’ll be adding:
- Multiselect option for batch operations with interactive cards on the board
- Undo/redo commands for easy action reversal
- Pop-up menus to reduce the number of clicks necessary for interacting with Weje whiteboards
The plans choice will be expanded, with teamwork (for small teams) and enterprise (with extra features) options to be added to the existing subscription plans.
Now, for the cherry on top — all students and teachers will be able to continue using the Education subscription plan for free! Knowledge and R&D are what we deeply root and stand for.
