Your product page is one of your most valuable website pages. When a visitor goes to your site, they want to know what you’re offering them, and they want to get into the nitty-gritty details of your product, no matter what type of product you sell. Let’s take a look at five companies that have shown off their products in unique ways. Although some of these designs may be from a couple redesigns ago, the elements still prove to be powerful for a product page. Let’s dive in!

InsightSquared — Video

InsightSquared’s product, Slate, has a unique page on their website. When you get to the page, it opens with a video about Slate. Then, as you scroll down the page, more information is revealed about Slate. This is a great way to showcase products that may have a lot of product information. Breaking it up down the entirety of the website page makes it easier for consumers to digest the details. Plus, starting with a video can be an attention grabber for any website visitor.

Perfect Bar — Enticing Header Image

Perfect Bar is known for its fresh and natural ingredients. Their product page perfectly shows off their products, specifically giving site visitors a look at what goes inside of them. By choosing a header image that highlights their fresh ingredients — nuts, berries, honey, and more, it attracts site visitors to learn more about their product. For products that are sold to everyday consumers, appealing images can gain their attention when they first head to the site.

Fitbit — Product Highlights

Fitbit offers a full suite of different fitness products, from different types of trackers to apps and smart scales. On their product page, they put their devices side by side, with a line highlighting a key benefit of each. Since each tracker is different, it’s a great way to show off the benefits of each without overwhelming the user with text. Although this is an older product page, the design is still excellent today. For companies who offer products that are similar but each have unique features that differentiate them, a side-by-side with highlights is a wonderful way to show off each individual product.

Honest — Interactive Search

Honest shows off their delicious drinks in a very simple way. But, if you want to dive deeper into their products, they have a unique search feature. Honest gives you the option to filter your search by organic, zero-calorie, unsweetened, fair trade, and more. When you click on a certain filter, the relevant drinks stay in focus, while the drinks that don’t match the filter fade into the background. This is a helpful way to filter through a product page when there are numerous variations of a product.

Sucrets — Leveraging Brand Color

Sucrets uses their brand colors in a unique way. Their three featured products have specific colors on their packaging, so they set up their product page centralized around those colors. This layout is great when your products overlap, but have unique elements. It highlights focus on the individual products while keeping the page design on-brand.
