My favorite part of the wedding is at the end of the night! The guests are laughing and joking, singing and dancing as the make their way out the doors. And that’s when I get the “high fives” and hugs from the couple because they had so much fun at their reception. It doesn’t get better than that!
I’m Kevin Venables, the Head Honcho of NW Mobile DJ Service in the Portland, OR area. I was a full time musician for 11 years before starting NW Mobile DJ Service and still belong to a band today. Music is in my DNA!
Because I did some radio back in the 80’s, and I was a Communications major at Portland State University — it was in the cards that I would be a DJ when I grew up (although my father still asks me when I’m going to get a real job….).
In February of 2001, I started my DJ company because I wanted to do something I loved and get paid for it. I knew I wanted to provide a consistent quality of entertainment, together with top notch customer service skills. I found that I made a lousy employee but a pretty good boss. Today we have 8 employees at NW Mobile DJ Service.
Besides the DJ’s/MC’s, we offer karaoke, audio/video rentals, and casino set ups. With our band of talented dealers, we teach your attendees how to play all of the games. This has been a great addition for us in expanding into the corporate world.
