A love of travel
Travel has always been around Lisa’s life, from watching planes to taking a leap of faith getting certified as a travel agent. Now in her 29th year as an agent, she’s had an opportunity to see a few resorts (ok a lot) and travel near and far all to be the expert her client’s value.
Her focus on romance travel has found her forming DWSHA with a partner to help those in the romance travel industry stay on top of trends, learn from each other, and build the community of support.

DWHSA -The Destination Wedding & Honeymoon Specialist Association is for travel agents who specialize in romance travel. Honeymoons, destination weddings, anniversary trips, vow renewals, etc. Our association’s foundation is education and networking for the agents that want to focus on that niche. DWHSA has 900 members in the US and Canada, and 3 members in Australia and New Zealand.
We have an annual conference, The Romance Travel University, RTU and we do weekly webinars, offer an online certification course, specialized training in South Asian Weddings.
