We’ve shot a little of everything over the years.

And now we’re giving everything we do a little mention.

It’s a dilema we’ve faced again and again as we debated the possibility of writing our own blog. “How do we describe what we do?”

Of course technically, it’s really simple. We shoot photography and video. We tell stories through these beautiful visual forms. And, we make a habit of challenging ourselves to deliver more and more compelling content for our clients each and every time we shoot.

But, what are we?

Inverve begun as a small wedding boutique. Naturally, we’ve clocked up dozens and dozens of beautiful, sometimes intimate sometimes extravagent, wedding shoots. Yes, at one point, I’d have said we were a wedding photography and video company.

However, that belies the fact that we begun our individual shooting lives in far flung corners of the arts (visual and otherwise) Music, narrative, portraiture, and more. One of us a videographer, one of us a photographer, and a third, hybrid photo-video-whatchya-ma-call-it.

Those formative training grounds prepared us to create a wedding boutique telling gorgeous stories. And, having been a wedding boutique, we gradually expanded out to shoot all the other amazing things that inspire us. Effectively, we ended up back where we started, albeit with a ton of experience, resource, and know-how to elevate our work to a whole new level. And, without ever relinquishing our wedding boutique. We’re still that, but also a whole lot more.

We’re a fully fledged production company.
