On October 10, We Don't Have Time will broadcast a TEDxGlasgow event, featuring a previously unseen TED talk from Al Gore, founder of The Climate Reality Project.
”We’ll also be announcing something special that will be a game-changer in how we tackle the climate crisis”, says Gurjit Singh Lalli, curator and founder of TEDxGlasgow.

As we head towards COP 26 in Scotland next year, TEDxGlasgow is hosting a Climate Watch Party for a series of brand new TED talks around the theme of climate change and sustainability. The event will be broadcast on the We Don’t Have app and Twitter channel on Saturday, October 10.

”We are very happy to collaborate with TEDx Glasgow, and for this opportunity to globally amplify the call for climate action”, says Ingmar Rentzhog, founder and CEO of We Don’t Have Time.

The event will feature unseen TED talks from former US Vice President Al Gore, and an expert panel including Netflix star Darin Olien, co-host on Down to Earth with Zac Efron.

The talks are part of ‘Countdown’, a global initiative from TED to accelerate solutions to the climate crisis and wellbeing economy. The hope is to encourage people to make a commitment to climate action, with leading voices driving awareness of the opportunities to drive change. Among those are former US Vice President Al Gore, who will speak about his activism journey.

The watch party is the first in a series of upcoming collaborations between TEDxGlasgow and We Don’t Have Time. The latest We Don't Have Time broadcast, the Exponential Climate Action Summit, reached a global audience of more than 8 million viewers.

“This event kicks off our mission for actions to support the sustainable development goals and build impact towards net-zero emissions”, says Gurjit Singh Lalli, curator and founder of TEDxGlasgow. ”We’ll also be announcing something special that will be a game-changer in how we tackle the climate crisis.”
