A Golden Sunset

Captured while driving through Nevada

I love Nevada’s desolation. You can drive for hours sometimes, without seeing another car. The wide, open valleys and far-off mountain ranges give an unobstructed view of the sky.

Fast-moving thunderstorms wash the dust from the desert. Before the wind dries everything out, the smell of wet sagebrush is overpowering.
