A mirage that reflected paradise

The curtain of the tired air opens
Enveloping the Sun like a lampshade
Unveiling a stage, a canvas on which something spectacular was to be revealed
And sure it was!

A lightning keeked resembling the sparkle of a hundred diamonds
On a backdrop so peach and rose
A cascading waterfall begins to pour
over and through
The clouds which metamorphosized into
a staircase to heaven

Such drama, such opulence
Such fluency of expressions
The rumbling of the grandeur
Disclosing the reach of this delicious act

My eyes lit up at this stage
Here, where
The clouds became the rides and
The rain poured serenity from all sides
Cascading down from the soft hues like
Poetry reflected through the steps of light

The breeze around me reverberated to its beats
As I stood with time- still
Witnessing this wonder
In front of me
This mellifluous song showering the land beneath

The applause from my eyes, awestruck
Followed the scene
As it spread its wings
into the silky milieu
And gradually draped the whole sky and being
into a satin grey

Expanse of delight
Renewed the dust
Emanating from somewhere in between
Captivated both the Sky and the Earth

Drenching the spectacle and the spectators alike in its charm
So effortlessly splendid and splendid effortlessly
