Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass. It’s about learning to dance in the rain.

After a fantastic trip to the Tulip Barn, we wanted to explore more tulip fields in Dronten. Dronten has 27 km of scenic bicycle path. Along the path, tulip fields are planted, which gives a beautiful view of the countryside. It was open from 13th April onwards this year. Though we were a week late for these tulips, we decided to give it a chance.

The weather didn’t look promising on Saturday afternoon. The weather showed it would be sunny and cloudy in Dronten on Google Maps. So we were hopeful that at least it wouldn’t be windy or rainy. However, the moment we started, it began pouring down heavily. It was a clear indication that it was a wrong decision to go out on that day.

After multiple cancellations of the trains, we finally reached Dronten station around 3:30 pm. We rented our bikes from the station and headed towards the Tulip fields. The weather looked more depressing than ever.
