A Week of Pet-Sitting Jobs

Sunflowers are blooming and doing well in this heat! I don’t have the giant sunflowers like my friends around the corner do, but I’ll settle for the smaller one that’s growing wild in the driveway.
I dog-sat for my friends Tuesday night through Friday night. Linus, the one-eyed dog loves me, and my friend is always telling me I’m his “Aunt Kim.”
My first night with Linus was Tuesday night. I sat out in the backyard while he ran around playing with his toys. I was asked to water some dry spots in the grass, along with potted plants and the grass along their fence line that was struggling to survive in the heat.
I made Linus humor me while I took selfies with him in the grass. I loved the one above where we’re leaning the same way and have the same expression on our faces.
He really is a fun dog with lots of personality!
