I traveled all throughout Europe, and Asia, and many of the Islands. I even got to go to France and meet my mom’s brother and my cousins and aunts. It was really a dream come true for me. My mother told me Cherbourg, where she was born in France, was right next to Normandy and right on the English Channel.

I spent nine days in the house of her brother, Louie (my uncle). I could not speak French…
