hanging loose on Sunday afternoon
dog-walking time
delayed by a sudden shower

Ten-minute drench
ducks delighted
dog depressed
so goes summer
in the Sunshine State
Moments later
steamy scintillation
filing fowls foraging
for bugs bubbling up
condensation evaporation
until tomorrow . . .
