Week one of my photo journal
I have been following Krasi’s weekly stories at Weeds & Wildflowers and want to give it a try too. I don’t know if I’ll write every week or how long it will last but as I understand the rules — that’s just fine.
My goal for this challenge is to write consistently and give more intention to my photography.

We are temporary fosters for this little nugget — Laverne.
You can tell by the scar on her nose that she’s recently had the palate surgery that many French Bulldogs need. The surgery helps to open up the dog’s nostrils so they can breathe.
Unfortunately, the cute snorting of French Bulldogs, or “Frenchies”, means they can not properly inhale and exhale.
When the AKC (American Kennel Club) named French Bulldogs, or “Frenchies” as the number one most popular breed in both 2022 and 2023, Rescues cried out in frustration. There is a monumental and life-threatening misunderstanding with this particular…
