Give me some time, I will get over you
just as soon as I gather my pieces
scattered dreams under my pillow
dust off the remnants of a mirage
from the deserts, footprints in the sand…Give me some time, I will get over you
just as soon as the truth blurs into a lie
and I, erase our history
tear the pages of time
thought by thought…Give me some time, I will get over you
just as soon as I have spoken all the words you never heard
until then,
i will remain
a poet.
