Welcome back, and as always, thanks for reading. This year’s Great Backyard Bird Count (GBBC) took place from February 14th to the 17th. If you are not familiar with this annual event, I recently wrote the following article:

This year, I had good results overall from the 4-day count. This year featured real winter conditions with over a foot of snow on the ground. As proof that the weather affects the number of birds, the one day we received rain and warmer temperatures resulted in not as many birds at the feeders.
