I Am Twilight

A Poem

Photo by Luke Marshall on Unsplash

Twilight writes me.
Sepia tones color
the outlines
of my thoughts.

I’m dancing on the skirts
of still slumbering red buds.

This silence smells warm.
The shadows stream
an abandoned land
and weeds wallow uninhibitedly.

Poetry is my first love. Inspired by intuition & my chunky ginger cat. My favorite place is by the sea, sipping espressos and daydreaming.
