JUST IMAGINE
A poem about living…
“Once upon a time,
There lived a fly,
Little puny creature,
Running from starve.”
“A quest to survive,
Took him to an alley,
There it was salvation,
In the form of a green box.”
“Surrounded by garbage,
It was like heaven,
Finding the holy grail,
It was the dream life.”
“Feasting all it wanted,
Days passing by,
It felt something missing,
But living was fine.”
“Twenty-five days,
Not a single thought,
It was all about to change,
By seeing one of its kind.”
“Another one of me?
I’m not the only one?
That was a bright spark,
To a new world of wants.”
“Should I go Looking?”
That was its taste of thoughts,
It took it three days,
To finally decide.”
“Packed with courage,
Roared out of alley,
It felt something new,
More than survival.”
“Finally, it was found,
What was lacked inside,
Sadly, there was no time,
As death arrived.”
“Twenty-eight days of joy,
Suddenly was a waste,
Just like the garbage,
That was left behind.”
“Take a little time,
Try to imagine,
That feeling of desperate,
That feeling of loss.”
