An illusion of reality?
preconscious memories repressed
or hidden in the looms of mind,

threads of thoughts being woven
once the mind drifts off,
as the alpha waves turn into delta!

or the subconscious fantasies
that you’re oblivious to,
where you’re flying on clouds
and a little swoop gives
that feeling of falling down;
a hypnic jerk!

or maybe memories that
hold a special place in your heart,
finding a way into your dreamland,
a friend whom you’d miss the most,

maybe the strongest deep-seated desires surfacing;
little secrets hidden to the world,
not stalling now to materialize,
words of poetry popping at times, a higher consciousness;
a figment of mind,
complex yet intriguing!
