Lazy Love
poetry
My eyes open just to squint,
misty view clears with teary glee.
My magical woman moves,
Silhouette slips by, silky and subtle.
My sweet saucy cutlet sizzles,
Tangy delight sets me sailing.
My fingers lock and spark,
grasping both skin and soul.
My roots strengthen, my body lightens.
Sure feet plant, happy toes curl and dig.
Fluid feelings flow, love shines serene —
in its ruby red rhythm.
Sometimes we cannot do anything but strive to match our words with those pouring emotions.
This piece is mine for this day. These words that stretch through mornings.
Dennett and readers, thank you for the platform and your valuable time.
