More Memorable Mountain Moments!
Behind a curtain of rain
A puffy panoply of silver-white crept up the mountain this morning, obliterating the view of San Juan and the sliver of the Atlantic that usually greets me. You might imagine life in tropical Puerto Rico is constant sun and sea breezes, but you would only be partially correct!
Two days of showers followed the most recent spate of sunshine on our beautiful island (yes, the same one some idiot believes is floating in the sea.) Wisps of white escaped from the remains of the rain. They slowly drifted from north to east. It was in curious contrast — silver vs. gold — with my photos from the same terraces a few days ago!
This morning, slivers of clouds slipped across the sky, and slid behind neighboring hills.
